Age limit and Relaxation
The age limit for all the posts is 18-33 years as on 01/01/2026. Date of birth of candidates should be between the dates given below:(Both dates inclusive)

Age relaxation in the upper age limit is provided categories wise 5 years for SC/ST Candidates, 3 Years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

Application Fees
Candidate need to submit fees according to their categories given below:

Recruitment Process of RRB NTPC
RRB NTPC Recruitment process is divided in three stages. In this section we will explain each stage in detail.
Stage 1 Computer Based Test (CBT)
This stage is common for all the posts of RRB NTPC and each candidate need to pass this test to proceed further. This stage for screening only. Total 100 questions will come from three sections.
- General Awareness: In this section your general awareness will be tested 40 questions will come from this section.
- Mathematics: This section will test your mathematical ability and 30 questions will come from this section.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section will test your reasoning ability and 30 questions will come from this section.
Stage 2 Computer Based Test (CBT)
Shortlisted candidates after 1 stage will appear in second stage. In this test total 120 questions will need to attempt in 90 minutes. Paper is divided in three parts:
- General Awareness: Total 50 questions will come from this section.
- Mathematics: This section have 35 questions.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: General Intelligence and Reasoning both combined have 35 questions.
Note: There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Stage 3 Skill Test
This is a special test which is not compulsory for all candidates. Skill test is divided in two parts according to posts.
Computer Based Typing Skill Test: This test is for the candidates who have applied for the posts of Senior Clerk cum Typist or Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist.
Computer Based Aptitude Test: This test is Only for those candidates who have opted for Station Master or Traffic Assistant.

- Now login using Id and password received on mail and fill detailed application form.
- A live photo will be captured during application process.
